Its 160mm Fox Rhythm 36 fork keeps your tire glued to your line of choice with another 160mm of rear travel lying in wait, built on a Fox Float DPX2 Performance Series EVOL shock and 3VO, one of the most advanced suspension designs available.
Its RaceFace ARC wheels and Vittoria Martello tires rail on sculpted park runs and rip through rooty enduro tracks without batting an eye. A Race Face crank drives power into Shimano’s 1x12-speed SLX drivetrain that shifts fast enough to keep up with your rowdiest descents, while providing a wide range that lets you self-shuttle and proudly earn your fun... and some bragging rights.
Push that fun envelope on the way down, because the 4-piston Ice-Tech SLX brakes harness fade-free power from another realm to keep you just this side of too-fast, all while a Race Face Aeffect R dropper post supports you in a dialed position so you get the most out of every inch of trail.
A dropper seatpost allows you to quickly lower and raise your seat to give you an ideal riding position. Dropping your seat creates a lower center of gravity for better control and maneuverability on steep descents, while raising it puts you at normal riding height for efficient pedaling.
Construction can include either hydraulic- or cable-actuated systems and the post’s travel can either be infinitely adjustable or stopped at set intervals, depending on the model.
Dropper seatposts come in standard lengths and diameters and vary by the amount of travel.
